Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that the QR system or National Fuel Pass will be further improved using advanced technology.
The minister stated that this defunct QR system will be used as a tool for data collection and analysis.
He points out that the purpose of introducing the national fuel pass along with the QR system in August last year was to implement it as a distribution program by managing existing resources as a solution to the fuel crisis and economic crisis that existed at that time.
The Minister further stated that through this, the existing social and economic problems were managed and the crises were ended as well as the people’s lives were stabilized.
