    Biden makes a fuss

A day after US Secretary of State Anthony Billinkin met Chinese President Xi Jinping and held talks to develop relations between the two countries, US President Joe Biden has accused the Chinese President of being a dictator.

The President of the United States made this accusation against the President of China when he attended a fund-raising event in California. Also, the President of the United States said that the Chinese President was deeply embarrassed after the spying balloon allegedly sent by China to the United States of America was shot down.

“The reason why the Chinese president was so upset was with the shooting down of the balloon filled with spying equipment. Did he really not know about it?” US President Joe Biden asked during the ceremony.

“It is a great shame that dictators have to face a situation where they don’t know what really happened,” he added.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning called US President George Biden’s statement “extremely absurd and irresponsible”. Speaking at a press conference, she said the statement was an “open political provocation” that violated diplomatic etiquette.

Anthony Billinkin’s visit last weekend was a landmark visit, the first by a US Secretary of State to China in five years.

There has been a heated situation between China and the United States in the past and the visit of the US Secretary of State managed to alleviate it in some way. However, President Biden’s statement has managed to undermine this situation.
