The government’s attention has been drawn to the report presented to Parliament yesterday (09) that the privatization of Sri Lanka Telecom poses a threat to national security.
The relevant report was submitted to Parliament by the Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security.
The government informs that a final decision will be taken in an upcoming cabinet meeting taking into consideration the recommendations of the information and communication sector.
