The Hettipola Police have started an investigation to find a person who threw a grenade near the car of Sri Lanka Kabaddi Association President Mr. Anura Pathirana.
Mr. Anura Pathirana resides in the Hettipola Dolahamuna area. He saw the bomb near his car parked in the garden when he was going to start it yesterday (26) morning.
According to a notification given by Mr. Anura Dharmaratne to the Hettipola Police, the police officers who arrived there conducted investigations and took the hand grenade into their custody. The Hettipola Police say that this bomb was made in a foreign country.
