Steps have been taken to lower the wholesale price of sugar by Rs. 20 to 25.
The Pettah Importers and Wholesalers Association says that the decision has been taken with effect from yesterday (07) midnight.

And to know that they only reduced the price of bread by 10/= this is a joke, who are they trying to fool. If sugar is reduced and flour is reduced, c’mon bread could be reduced by 50/= not a foolish 10/= this is all rubbish. The govt doesn’t know whether they are standing or seating or just keep fooling the public. Wonder for how long? This looser of a President must go.
