The film director and journalist, who was arrested while videotaping the Parliament with a mobile phone, has been remanded until February 07 after being produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court this evening.
S. Vimalaraj (31), a resident of Vaiman Road, Jaffna, who is said to be the film director of Vimsion Creations, and M. N. M. Sadir (22), a journalist of Ensposer Digital Media, a resident of Mahaiya, Kandy, have been remanded.
The two suspects were arrested by the Parliamentary Police officers and handed over to the Talangama Police Station yesterday (29).
