In the 2022 All Ceylon School Music Tournament, Colombo Nalanda College achieved a great victory by winning first place in all three events participated.
Thinal Damsith Konara competed in the box guitar section of the solo performance-special song competition, Menura Sooriyaarachchi competed in the harmonium performance section and the team that participated in the group song competition won first place.
With the blessings of Principal Mr. Thilak Waththuhewa, the students were led for this extraordinary achievement by teachers Kalpa Udayapriya, Dulani Renuka and Manel Senaratne of Oriental Music Unit. Janupa Welikala, Tevin Gunasekara, Nalamudhu Bulegoda, Yathika Sirikuma, Chanithu Perera, Sarindu Nethsara, Chenitha Nimnal, Dinindu Herath, Thisaga Perera, Imeth Rajakaruna, Menuka Perera, Dulani Renuka, Kalpa Udayapriya, Manel Senarathne, Heshan Nethsara, Menura Suriyarachchi, Anupa Weerasinghe, Nadil Hennayake are the students who achieved this victory.
