Sri Lanka Cricket has taken steps to ban cricketer Chamika Karunaratne from all types of cricket matches for one year.
It is related to an allegation of violation of the terms of the match contract agreement during the T20 World Cup cricket tournament held in Australia.
In addition to the suspension, Sri Lanka Cricket has also decided to impose a fine of 5000 US dollars on Chamika Karunaratne.
