Member of Parliament Rishad Bathiudeen has been acquitted in the case under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
The Criminal Investigation Department arrested Mr. Rishad Badiuddin in connection with the Easter Sunday terror attack on April 21.
Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage ordered today (02) to release him from the case as per the instructions of the Attorney General when the Magistrate’s investigation related to the incident was called again.
