Former President Maithripala Sirisena has arrived at the Colombo High Court Complex some time ago.
A personal complaint was filed against Mr. Maithripala Sirisena before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court regarding the Easter attack.
He has filed a petition requesting to issue an order suspending the related trial.
The former president has come to the court to appear when the petition is called before the court today.
The petition will be called before the Appellate Court bench consisting of Mr. Sobitha Rajakaruna and Mr. Dhammika Ganepola.
