The Sri Lankan Women’s team qualified for the final after winning by 01 run against Pakistan in the semi-final match of the Asia Cup Women’s T20 tournament.
Accordingly, the Sri Lankan women’s team will compete with the Indian women’s team in the finals of the Asia Cup held next Saturday.
The Sri Lanka women’s team, who batted first in the semi-final match, scored 122 runs for the loss of six wickets at the end of the 20 overs.
Chasing a target of 123 runs, the Pakistan women’s team managed to score only 121 runs for the loss of 6 wickets at the end of the 20overs.
Inoka Ranaweera who took 02 wickets for 17 runs won the man of the match award.
