It has been revealed that the gang that robbed a businessman of Rs. 223 lakh in Tambuttegama was led by a local council member from SLPP.
Accordingly, the Tambuttegama police arrested the MP while he was staying at his residence in Rajangana last night.
Police information stated that the police have been interrogating him for a long time and many important details are being revealed. The suspect is a resident of Navasigama Rajangana.
