Veteran actress Damitha Abeyratne, who was remanded in custody, has been released on bail.
That was today (12) when this case was called before the Fort Magistrate’s Court through a motion.
The court has ordered the release of Mrs. Damitha Abeyratne on two sureties of Rs. 500,000.
The magistrate has also ordered that Mrs. Damitha Abeyratne be banned from travelling abroad.
