Secretary of the Ministry of Financial Economic Stabilization and National Policy Mr. K. M. M. Siriwardena said that 61000 families suffering from nutritional deficiencies will be given Rs.10000 per month as a subsidy for a period of 4 months.
The Secretary also said that the assistance will be provided for the 4 months of September, October, November and December under the World Food Program.
He also mentioned that Sri Lanka will receive assistance for that under the World Food Programme.
