The Ministry of Education has announced that they have decided to hold schools during the week from the day after tomorrow (27) to July 01.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education, from 2022/06/20 to 20222/06/24, schools with no transportation difficulties for students and teachers should be held as normal like the way rural schools are held. If there are teachers in these schools who have transportation difficulties, the principal will exempt those teachers from personal holiday leaves and set flexible timetables.
Schools in urban areas that were not held last week should be held three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In these schools too, the principal has the power to decide on the number of days that the primary sections will be held.
Learning activities are continued through online tutoring, assignments, and home-based activities during the days schools are not held.
These days are not considered as personal holiday leaves for teachers who do not attend school due to transportation difficulties.
The Ministry of Education also pays tribute to all the principals and teachers who contributed to the running of the school from 2020/06/20 to 2022/06/24 amidst transport difficulties.
