Air operations at Palaly International Airport will resume on the 1st of this month.

India has provided a loan of US $ 45 million for the development of the Kankesanthurai Port.
Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva says that the port development is expected to bring food and fertilizer directly from India to Kankesanthurai.
Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva further stated that food items and fertilizer will be brought to the Kankesanthurai port through 300 ton boats.
