The Police Special Task Force (STF) has recovered 180 liters of petrol and 3800 liters of diesel from a fuel bowser hidden on the premises of a well-known private company in Sapugaskanda.
Police Media Spokesman’s Office says the raid was carried out last evening according to information received by the Gonahena camp.
The suspect arrested with the fuel was a 44-year-old resident of Ahangama.
The suspect was handed over to the Sapugaskanda Police Station along with the fuel consignment for further investigations.
