    Mathews and Chandimal score centuries against Bangladesh

    Sri Lanka’s Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal scored centuries in the fourth day of the second Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur today (26).

    Restricting Bangladesh to 365 in the first innings, Sri Lanka are currently 425 for five in their first innings.

    Angelo Mathews is not out on 106 off 244 balls with seven fours while Dinesh Chandimal is not out on 104 off 183 balls. Chandimal’s innings included nine fours.

    Angelo Mathews became the eighth batsman to score 100 runs in the first innings and second innings in a Test match against Bangladesh today, the third time he has recorded this feat. Angelo Mathews had previously played a similar feat against England in 2014 and against India in 2015.

    Sri Lanka is currently 61 runs ahead of Bangladesh.
