A father and two children who went to bathe in the Dambarawa lake in Kirimadilla, Mahiyanganaya have drowned.
The deceased have been identified as a 45-year-old father and two sons aged 15 and 10, according to the Mahiyanganaya Police.
They are residents of Kirimadilla.
Police say that it was found that they had drowned during a search carried out when they had not returned home for a long time after gone for a bath last evening.
Villagers had jumped into the lake and found the 03 bodies after a search. An autopsy is to be conducted today.
