Restrictions on refueling vehicles at filling stations have been changed from today (24).
Accordingly, fuel will be issued up to Rs. 2,500 for motorcycles, Rs. 3,000 for three-wheelers and Rs. 10,000 for cars and other vehicles from today, said the Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera.
Earlier a limit of Rs. 2000 was imposed on motorcycles and a limit of Rs. 2500 was imposed on three-wheelers.
Fuel for cars and other vehicles was previously issued subjecting to a maximum price of Rs. 8,000.
The fuel limits for vehicles have been revised with the increase in fuel prices from this morning.
