It is reported that all arrangements are being made for the Leader of the United National Party Ranil Wickremesinghe to be sworn in as the new Prime Minister at the President’s House at 6 pm today.
The UNP media unit says that all relevant discussions have already been concluded.
Ranil Wickremesinghe had met President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa last night and discussed the matter at length.
That is how these agreements were reached last night.
This is the sixth time that Ranil Wickremesinghe will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka as he has served as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka on five previous occasions.
