The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has extended the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. for another six months with effect from today (5).
These steps have been taken to extend the investigations of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in accordance with the Regulations issued under the Registered Securities and Exchange Ordinance and the Local Treasury Bills Ordinance.
Accordingly, the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka will suspend the business and activities of a primary dealer of Perpetual Treasuries for a period of 06 months with effect from 4.30 p.m. on 05 January 2022.
