Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena told newswaveLK that a kilo of Nadu rice and raw rice would be sold for less than 100 rupees through Sathosa outlets during the upcoming festival season.
He also said that steps will be taken in the future to provide more essential food items at concessionary prices to the people through the Sathosa.
He also said that people in places where there are no Sathosa outlets can bring goods to their own homes by dialing the 1998 telephone number.
