Professor Sunil Ariyaratne, who has been awarded for his contribution to Sinhala literature, was presented with the Sahitya Ratna Award at the 2021 State Literary Awards Ceremony yesterday (03).
This is the first time in history that an alumnus of the University of Jayewardenepura has received this award.
