A suspect has been arrested along with a stock of Wallapatta plant parts and a tree oil extraction house following a tip-off received by the STF at Boossa.
The raid was carried out in the Kalubowitiyana area in Ambewela in the Morawaka Police Division yesterday.
The arrested suspect is a 49 year old man.
Troops also recovered 659 kilos of Wallapatta, 30 ml of extracted Wallapatta liquid and several extractors.
The suspects were handed over to the Diyadawa Site Officer’s Office for further investigations, the STF said.
