The Cost of Living Committee, which takes decisions to revise the prices of goods, is scheduled to meet today.
State Minister of Consumer Protection Lasantha Alagiyawanna had recently stated that with the increase in the prices of goods in the world market, the prices of several essential commodities will have to be increased from today.
Accordingly, the current problems regarding rice, milk powder, wheat flour, cement and gas will be discussed and a final solution will be reached, he said.
