The Twenty20 Cricket World Cup will be held from October 17 to November 14 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that two warm-up matches will be played against Oman before the tournament. Accordingly, the Sri Lankan team will leave for Oman on October 03.
The first match against Oman will be played on October 07 and the second match will be played on October 09.
In addition to the two matches, the Sri Lanka Cricket team will take part in two practice matches before the World Cup on October 12 and 14, according to Sri Lanka Cricket.
Sri Lanka will play their first match of the World Cup against Namibia. That match will be played on October 18 and the next will be on October 20 against Ireland. Both matches will be played at the Sheikh Stadium in Abu Dhabi and the third match will be against the Netherlands on October 22 in Sharjah.
