Today marks the 70th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
Due to the Covid epidemic in the country, the anniversary celebrations will be held online.
The anniversary celebrations are scheduled to begin at 5 pm under the patronage of the party’s chairman and former president Maithripala Sirisena.
Former President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to make a special statement.
