Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara, the Deputy Director of the Medical Research Institute has been summoned to appear before the CID tomorrow (31).

Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara has been summoned to the CID following a complaint regarding his statements on serious problems during Rapid antigen and PCR testing as well as serious abnormalities in the health sector, made in an interview on a YouTube channel.
In that interview, he severely criticized institutions such as the Drug Regulatory Authority, the State Pharmaceutical Corporation and the State Pharmaceutical Corporation.
According to a complaint lodged this morning by a doctor in a medicine-related government institution that was criticized by Dr. Jayaruwan, an investigation has been launched into the allegations made in the interview aired on the YouTube channel.
Accordingly, Dr. Jayawaruwan Bandara was summoned before the CID, a senior police official said.
