Acceptance of Benefit Applications from the Employees Provident Fund has been suspended until the 20th of next month in all District and Assistant Officers’ Offices, including the Head Office of the Department of Labor.
This is due to the fact that many of its officials have confirmed that they are infected with Covid-19.
Accordingly, the activities of the Employees Provident Fund Payments Branch have been suspended until that day, said the Commissioner of Labor, Attorney-at-Law B.K. Prabhath Chandrakeerthi.
