Heavy traffic has been reported along the 174 bus route from Battaramulla to Pannipitiya.
This was due to a protest by principals and teachers’ unions in front of the Sethsiripaya Ministry of Education.
The protest in the Pelawatta area where the Ministry of Education is located has caused severe congestion in other areas along the road.
It is reported that both lanes of the above section of the No. 174 bus route have been blocked.
