Ideal Motors (Pvt) Ltd. recently handed over the motor cars to the National Lotteries Board to present to the winners, which are given in addition to the super prize of the Sampath Lagna Vasana Lottery sold by the NLB.
Accordingly, they officially handed over to the Chairman of the National Lotteries Board, Attorney-at-Law Lalith Piyum Perera at its head office by Malaka Wehella, Deputy General Manager, Ideal Motors (Pvt) Ltd. Mahindra KUV100 NXT cars which are worth around Rs. 35 lakhs each will be given to the first phase winners of the Sampatha Lagna Wasana Lottery.
Mahindra Ideal Lanka, a joint venture between Ideal Business Group and Mahindra & Mahindra, India, has launched the Mahindra KUV100 NXT in 2019 also by adding local parts as a start for the car assembly industry in Sri Lanka. The factory is centered in the Welipenna area of the Kalutara District. Mahindra KUV100 NXT is currently gaining popularity among Sri Lankan consumers and in the future, the factory will assemble Mahindra Trucks in Sri Lanka by assembling local parts.
The Sampath Lagna Vasana Lottery, launched by the National Lotteries Board based on the National Kidney Fund, draws monthly. The grand winner of this lottery will be awarded a grand prize of Rs. 10 million, a luxury car, and other winners will also receive Rs. 2million, Rs. 500,000 and Rs. 100,000 prizes.
