A report by the National Audit Office reveals that 13 officials from the University of Sabaragamuwa, who went abroad on study leave between 2000 and 2020, have failed to repay over Rs. 92 million due to bond violations.
The report states that this amount had not been recovered as of April last year.
These findings are included in the university’s 2023 annual report, as highlighted by the National Audit Office.
