The new President Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake assured that he will do his best through a new investigation to reveal the truth about the Easter Sunday bombing.
The Archbishop of Colombo, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, while addressing the media, said that the new president made this assurance when he met him on Monday after being sworn in as the 9th Executive President of Sri Lanka.
“The new president told us that he will do his best to find out the truth about the Easter Sunday bombing. People have voted for the National People’s Power to bring about a big change. This is a difficult task. We give him full support and wish the new president and his administration our blessings to bring about this change that the people want.” said the cardinal.
