A disciplinary inquiry is scheduled to be held on the 23rd regarding cricketer Niroshan Dickwella, who is currently banned for using stimulants.
According to cricket sources, if he is found guilty, he will be banned from all forms of cricket for 4 years.
Niroshan Dickwella was found guilty of violating anti-doping laws during an investigation by the Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency during this year’s LPL tournament.
Sri Lanka Cricket in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and the Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency conducted random tests during domestic tournaments to protect the sport from anti-doping violations.
Niroshan Dickwella was previously banned for one year due to undisciplined behavior.
After that, while the Sri Lanka Cricket Board has worked to reduce it to 6 months, he is facing another charge.
