Mr. Rohana Hettiarachchi, executive director of the PAFFREL organization, said that 84 complaints have been received related to the presidential election.
Most of them are related to misuse of state power and property, he said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Manjula Gajanayake, Executive Director of the Democratic Reforms and Election Studies Institute, said that 44 complaints have been received so far regarding the violation of election laws.
The National Election Commission states that 320 complaints related to the election have been reported.
103 complaints have been reported to the district election complaint management centers.
The remaining 214 complaints have been reported to the National Election Complaints Management Centre.
