The launch of the Samagi Jana Sandhana, which is being formed to support Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the Samagi Jana Balawega in the upcoming presidential election, is now taking place in Colombo.
This alliance, which is formed with the theme of ‘Samata Jayak Samagi Ratak Udesa’, has received the support of many parties.
Accordingly, several political parties and alliances including the Dayasiri’s group of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, the Tamil Progressive Party of Mano Ganesan, the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress of Rauf Hakeem, the Nidahas Janatha Sabha led by Dallas Alahapperuma, and the Purawasi Handa of Arjuna Ranatunga have now joined this alliance led by Samagi Jana Balawega.
