A person was arrested in Vallipuram area with Kerala ganja worth over one crore rupees (Rs. 10 million) on a tip-off received by Army Intelligence.
The suspect was arrested with more than one crore rupees (60Kg) of Kerala ganja packed in 02 sacks during a raid conducted jointly with the Police Special Task Force and Point Pedro (PPD) in the coastal area of Vallipuram.
The Army says that the arrested suspect is a 25-year-old youth. Further investigations are being carried out by the Yakaaru Police Special Task Force.
