The Locomotive Operating Engineers’ Train Drivers Union has announced that they will start a strike from midnight today (6).
They say that they are implementing this strike based on several problems including the delay in the promotion of train drivers.
According to the announcement, the authorities, including the Railway General Manager, had to take this professional action due to the failure to resolve the problems of the train drivers.
