The Samagi Jana Balawega has made a written notice naming several days for the proposed debate with the Jathika Jana Balawega (National People’s Power – NPP).
Member of Parliament Nalin Bandara has sent the letter and it states that the debate between the economic committees should be held first.
Accordingly, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st of May have been suggested for that and National People’s Power has been informed to choose a convenient date.
It has also been proposed to choose a date between the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th of July for the debate between the leaders of the two parties, the opposition leader Sajith Premadasa and the member of Parliament Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Also, MP Nalin Bandara has mentioned in the relevant letter that he expects a prompt reply from the NPP regarding the debate dates.
