Dinara Punchihewa, a Sri Lankan-born actress and film producer, has been included in the list of ‘Asia’s 30 under 30’ – 2024 published by Forbes magazine this year.
Among the 300 people recognized as young leaders across various fields, she has been included in the entertainment and sports section of its ninth annual list published by Forbes magazine.
Dinara also rose to fame in Bollywood in 2018 with her short film ‘Mala’ which was screened at international film festivals.
Since then, she has appeared in four additional films. She demonstrated her acting skills in films like ‘Gaadi’ and ‘Podhu’.
A graduate of the Queen Mary University of London, Dinara founded ‘Punchi Actors’, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing theater and acting to children from low-income families.
