A businessman has complained to the Kadana Police against Upul Shantha Sannasgala saying that he took 10 lakh rupees for the production of a film and did not return the money for a long time.
Mr. Upul Shantha Sannasgala was summoned to the police yesterday in relation to the complaint that he had received the money two years ago on the promise to return it but the money was not given.
Mr. Upul Shanta Sannasgala came to the police yesterday and said that he received the money as a donation. The police stated that Mr. Sannasgala agreed before the police to pay the amount within two weeks.
Sannasgala is a spoiled person. He should immediately be ordered not to engage in teaching again. What he does is brain washing students by criticizing Buddhism and its practices in a clueless manner. He even condemned Mahinda Thera too. he does not deserve to be teaching.
