The Ministry of Education has made an announcement regarding the salary disparity of non-academic staff in government universities.
The Ministry of Education submitted the Cabinet Memorandum based on the decision of the committee appointed in the discussion held together with the Unions of the University Non-Academic Staff, Higher Education Ministry officials and Treasury officials to eliminate the salary disparity (92% instead of 107%) for the non-academic staff of the government universities since 2016.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education expects to take a policy decision on the Cabinet Memorandum.
The Ministry of Education says that after receiving the relevant Cabinet decisions in the near future, the Ministry will act accordingly.
