The Auditor General has informed that all government institutes must submit their annual financial statements on or before February 28.
After that, the Auditor General’s summary report to be published along with the annual financial statement report will be given to the respective institutions, said Auditor General Mr. WPC Wickramaratne.
The Auditor General also says that 3 months is sufficient for the relevant audit activities.
The Auditor General’s summary report is issued for publication with the annual financial statement report before May 31.
