Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Vidura Wickramanayake says that since the Cabinet has approved the registration of all the religious places in the island, data collection is currently being done.
The minister also said that while collecting data in this way, details will be obtained regarding all the monks, priests, and fathers who are currently staying at the religious places.
Also, Minister Vidura Wickramanayake mentioned that discussions have started with Mahanayaka Theros regarding the age limit for the ordination of children.
