Ja-Ela Police have arrested two assistants working in the Attorney General’s Department who were ready to sell an elephant pearl for 63 lakh rupees.
A 32-year-old resident of Halugasthanna, Godakawela and a 28-year-old resident of Arawatta, Mahianganaya have been arrested.
The two suspects were arrested yesterday evening while the transaction was taking place in front of Ja-Ela Sathosa shop.
