Yesterday (03), the parents of an 8-year-old girl submitted a complaint to the Jaffna Police regarding the surgical removal of the lower part of the hand from the wrist of the girl who was admitted to the Jaffna Hospital due to a fever.
This girl’s hand was removed on the last 01.
This girl named Sandilyan Vairashali was hospitalized on the last 25th. The police say that the complaint made by the parents also states that Clindamyein was given to the girl due to the fever not being cured.
They have asked the police for a formal investigation regarding the removal of the girl’s hand.
