The Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa said in a special statement today (25) that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, who is preparing to address the nation tonight, should immediately reduce the increased fuel prices and lift the arbitrarily decided fertilizer ban.

Providing a permanent relief program for the damage caused to the fishing community and restoration of the ecosystem destroyed by the Express Pearl shipwreck.
Provide prompt solutions for children affected by the lack of facilities for online education.
Taking appropriate measures to control the spread of corona epidemic (speeding up the vaccination process, providing safety equipment to health sectors, increasing hospital facilities, increasing the number of PCR tests)
Should focus on providing financial relief to the people to rebuild the lives of the downtrodden.
He hoped that the President would address these issues in his address to the nation.
