Young senior DIGs, including recently promoted senior DIGs, have joined hands to build the police together with the IGP.
The purpose of these officers is to perform their duties well while protecting the present IGP until the end of his tenure in 2023.
Police sources revealed that the recently promoted Senior DIGs visited Police Headquarters this morning (21) and had a meeting with Mr. C. D. Wickramaratne.
Sources also said that the IGP had briefed the officers on the future and present situation of the police.
