The Inspector General of Police has issued an order to every police station in the island to conduct special anti-crime operations from 6 pm today to the 15th, covering the entire island.
Information from the police headquarters disclosed that this operation is taking place according to a sudden decision.
From this morning, a special security program was implemented in Colombo and its suburbs using the army.
Police information revealed that this crime prevention operation, which started this evening until the 15th, will be implemented simultaneously.
